Our company was established in 1973 to provide digital topographic and photogrammetric services to private industries and government agencies. National Map Research has been fortunate to provide services to a wide and varied clientele covering many countries. Our experience includes: United States Air Force, Soil Conservation Service (State & Federal), Jefferson County Open Space, Coors (Colorado), Climax (Colorado), DHM Design, Goldtra (Colorado), City of Idaho Springs (Colorado), Exxon (this included mapping approximately 1/4 of the world), USA, Black Hawk and Central City of Colorado, various Private Developers, Engineers, Land Owners throughout Jefferson County Colorado, and 25 years as a private contractor to the National Ocean & Atmospheric Administration. Currently, we serve as consultants to specific clients who need photogrammetric services and digital mapping.

National Map Research was started with second generation mapping experience and brings with it over 40 years of experience in the industry. In the past NMR has been a member of the Colorado Society of Engineers, and has served as the Vice President of the the Colorado Chapter of the American Society of Photogrammetry. Now, we are proud to state that we are an upstanding company in our community with strong community ties to area surrounding us.
